Effects of Task Goal On Learning to Use an Instructional Computer Simulation
Judith
Effken holds a masters degree in Nursing Management and a doctorate
in Experimental Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Effken has been an assistant professor at the University of Arizona
College of Nursing since 1996, where she teaches health care informatics and
nursing systems theory. Kimberly Shea completed her masters' degree in nursing with a focus on healthcare informatics at the University of Arizona in Spring, 2000. Her thesis focused on exploratory learning with instructional computer simulations and used the same displays used for this study.
