 Last month the Dutch Council for Health and Social Services (RVZ) presented a report on 'Patient and Internet' for the Dutch Minister of Health.

This report deals with the possibilities and perils of Internet in relation to health and healthcare, the consequences of the use of Internet and the actions the Dutch government and other parties should take to stimulate the possibilities and to reduce the perils.
