Abstract

As nursing practice evolves to include a greater emphasis on community-focused care and information management, educators will need to use different teaching strategies for communicating clinical information with their students at multiple distant clinical sites. This article describes the way in which the Nightingale Tracker (a computerized communication system) has integrated the Omaha System as its foundation for clinical communication and information management among faculty and students.
